Cadwell and Oulton are two of the great circuits in the UK, Unlike Silverstone, Snetterton, Mallory, Croft and all the other airfield derived circuits they have gradient changes that make them both challenging and exciting.
At Mazda on Track we have both of these circuits this year. Cadwell Park on the Friday 17th October and Oulton Park on Wednesday 12th November.
Cadwell, very often called the mini Nurburgring, is winds its way up and down in the Lincolnshire Wolds. The complex at Hall Bends is always a thrill, Coppice and Charlies are truly white knuckle experiences and the Gooseneck is a challenge. Barn corner features in the film Rush. It really is worth the drive to get here, which is a joy in its self, the sweeping Lincolnshire roads are just made for MX-5’s and the lack of traffic is something city dwellers and those from the Home Counties can only dream about.
Oulton Park is another circuit that many from the south have not visited. Brought into life by the Mid Cheshire Car Club in the early 1950’s to serve the north west of England and using some of the estate roads of Oulton Estate and a gem was created. Rapid gradient changes and blind corners are a feature of this circuit, but it is a joy to drive. Druids is a joy to get right and Island bend a thrilling ride.
There are only 30 places available at Cadwell and 40 places at Oulton. Tuition will be free on these days and they are at the bargain price of £120 for Cadwell and £139 for Oulton. Or as a special double deal, the both can be booked for £239 saving a further £20. Two great circuits for just £239!!!
Don’t leave it too late. These will sell.
