Events Calender........ up there ^^^^^^^^

Postby Nice but » Tue Apr 08, 2008 9:17 am

To those who know/can......

As we have a fair few events occuring during the year, would it be a good idea to have an Events Calender up by the titles so people can post up any Runs/meets/events etc for all to see?

I run the RX8OC monthly meets still  and the calender is a real boon so we don't clash with anything else.

I just found out about the 'Breakfast run' thingy but could have put the dates in the calender and started a thread linking to them.....

Whatdya think :D

We used to have one.

But when the server moved under Slinky's we didn't bother moving it over, as no-one ever used it :(

Have a look on the Moonrakers Site I've installed a Calendar on there that integrate with the forum.

I think it may be a useful addition, Steve made up his list of shows earlier in the year and they could be added to the calender etc etc.

Also the breakfast meets the P5's decide to go to can be added.......

Richard, Can't see the calender as I'm not registered but do you find it a useful addition?

I had a right ballache trying to get this done for the Northampton forum, but gave up in the end and have gone for the simpler pdf of our diary dates linked from the top of all the events forums nd making sure that all the forum topics relating to evend have got the date at the start of the title in the same format to make it easy for people to read...

It was OK, but as I said, people just ignored it.

Fairly, but I think it's probably something that slinky needs to do rather than just a forum admin
